Our space in The Gallery showcases our range of ergonomic seating solutions in a workplace environment alongside other office furniture businesses that are in The Gallery.
We have already had a busy few months in our new showroom from Clerkenwell Design Week on the 22nd-24th May. We saw 100’s of visitors come through as well as enjoying several events held within the Gallery.

Comfort 2018 new products launch event has two sections. The 1st section is new chair launch and the 2nd section is new concept of 「Science Mission Office」launch. New chair, Pofit is the world first chair which can interact with users through Smart APP connected by Bluetooth and adopts bionic spine design to provide 300% more whole-line support to human spine. Bionic spine is the best solution for back & lumbar pain on current office chairs design field. We applied 3 distinctive videos to show how high-tech, different and ergonomic Pofit is. Comfort has upgraded its manufacturing headquarters with the world’s first automated assembly line for office seating
It’s another milestone for the global furniture manufacturer with the focus on creating greatly enhanced workforce creativity, safety and productivity. Continuing to lead the industry in innovation, the factory provides a clean, comfortable, technology-based working environment and delivers exceptional efficiency.
No stranger to investment in innovation, Comfort introduced an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) in 2013 – supplying material to assembly lines. The AGV circulates around the workshop and warehouse increasing the efficiency of Takt time and ensuring precise delivery with robustly run production schedules.
In 2015, Comfort introduced an automated laser banding machine and, in 2017, announced its automated packing line which uses robotic arms to load containers. In addition, they recently completed a pilot of a highly efficient automated assembly line – further demonstrating the spirit of innovation and a continued enthusiasm to be pioneers in the furniture industry.
With a commitment to ongoing investment in developing automatic systems throughout the entire production process, Comfort’s goal is to lead the way in state-of-the-art, innovative manufacturing.

Not long back from Dublin's Facilities Management Ireland expo and, having enjoyed our time on the stand hosted by the Gannon Group with Online Ergonomics, we like to think of ourselves as almost Irish - well, as Scots we're pretty close, right? The show was a great success and we like to thank everyone who came along to chat about the benefits of our range of eco-friendly, ergonomic seating.

"It was a big year for Ayrshire seating manufacturer, Comfort - climaxing at Germany’s largest commercial furniture trade event - ORGATEC. But there’s little time to relax and reflect as the Newmilns-based team launch their brand across Europe. Their metamorphosis from a small, family-run business selling office seating in the UK, to a manufacturer distributing across the whole of Europe was ambitious to say the least but, with the support of an experienced team from across the office furniture and manufacturing sectors, the future looks rosy for this dynamic brand.
Comfort’s 324 m2 exhibition stand in Cologne was certainly a bold statement. Their familiar office chairs featured prominently in a combination of Comfort’s own mesh ranges combined with Scottish fabric manufacturer – Bute’s striking, contemporary tweeds. Expanding into a wider product offering for 2017, acoustic seating pods with smart lighting and adjustable neck support complemented their well-being at work message. A firm favourite at this year’s Orgatec, agile work trends inspired sit-stand desking and storage solutions, and demonstrated innovative technology integration.
Punchy upholstery from both Bute and Camira also featured on their Elematrix soft seating. A range of stools, tables, pods, hot desks and accessories created comfortable zones for informal meeting or relaxing. Luxurious leather and cowhide lounge seating also offered battle-weary visitors much-needed feet-up time.

Comfort have launched their latest advertising campaign, showcasing the Ergohuman ergonomic chair. With plenty to celebrate, we are proud to announce that we've sold 800,000 chairs globally, confirming that it's as popular as ever - its classic styling and smart functions standing the test of time.
The campaign will hit the UK and across Europe in May 2016.
Comfort Europe celebrate their launch at the CIFF - International Furniture Fair - March 2016
The Comfort Europe stand at the 2016 CIFF exhibition, part of the Comfort Seating Group stand, was visited by guests from across the globe. Comfort Seating were celebrating both the ten year anniversary of the globally acclaimed Ergohuman chair and the launch of their new Poise task chair.
Comfort Europe displayed a combination of our ergonomic range of seating alongside the new M-box soft seating and furniture range, due to be launched next year, and the team were kept very, very busy. Our cowhide Nuvem Lounge chairs attracted much attention, and were rarely without visitors enjoying some feet-up time.

Comfort Seating Europe was introduced at the Comfort Seating Product Launch and Reunion Party - March 28th 2016.
The Comfort Europe Team made their grand entrance in Guangzhou, China, at the Global Distributors' Reunion Party, timed to coincide with the ten year birthday of our flagship chair, Ergohuman, and the launch of Comfort Seating's new Poise task chair at CIFF 2016.
A star-studded event, featuring the latest Comfort Seating advertising campaign and speeches from global partners, was attended by over 700 guests and was hosted in the stunning Grand Ballroom at the five star Shangri-La Hotel. Guests were treated to a champagne reception followed by a delicious banquet while enjoying music and performers on stage. We'd like to thank all the guests for making the evening truly fabulous.

What better way to celebrate exciting, new developments in the business than with the fantastic people who work in partnership to build and develop the Comfort brand? The fabulous Lochgreen House Hotel was the venue, on a crisp, Scottish winter's day to indulge our fantastic sales network with a taste of Scotland. Whisky galore, piper piping and, of course, haggis - a good time was had by all. We would like to offer our thanks to everyone who joined us, and extend a warm invitation to visit us again soon.

We’re not sure what the collective noun for dealers is, but we do know that a lot of them were royally treated recently. 'The Taster' launch event was held at the stunning 5-star Lochgreen House Hotel, just south of Glasgow. In the heart of Ayrshire, Lochgreen House Hotel is set in 30 acres of woodlands and gardens, overlooking the Royal Troon Championship Golf Course.
We not only launched our latest task chair, Genidia, to dealers and guests at the event, but also celebrated the opening of our impressive new, custom-built showroom – and did so in some style! Whisky tasting, Burns-themed supper and a full-on traditional Scottish breakfast all added to the taste of Scotland theme.
